Global asset manager looking for an Employment Counsel for an initial six month contract to cover a period of increased workload. Hybrid working arrangement – three days per week in the office (City).
Working alongside one employment lawyer in the UK business, the day-to-day remit is predominantly advisory work on employment law matters such as:
- Hiring
- Performance management and termination
- Wage and hour rules
- Harassment, discrimination and bullying
- Contingent worker issues
You will work closely with HR and other departments to ensure consistency of employment policies across the business, as well as delivering training and implementation strategy relating to the UK Employment Rights Act. There will also be some litigation matters as part of the role.
Qualifications:
At least 8 years’ PQE, while applications from all levels will be considered on merit. Preference for candidates admitted in England & Wales; overseas candidates may be considered with at least 3–4 years’ experience on UK employment law matters.
