As a Capital Market Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation’s capital markets strategy. Your day-to-day activities will centre around automating complex portfolio monitoring tasks through innovative dashboard creation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration. You will be responsible for uncovering critical trends in large datasets and translating these into clear insights for senior leadership.
Must have:
- Demonstrated experience of at least two years in data analytics roles within the finance or fintech sector, showcasing your ability to handle complex datasets relevant to capital markets.
- A strong academic background with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computational Finance or an equivalent discipline that underpins your analytical approach.
- Proven hands-on expertise with SQL for querying databases efficiently as well as Python for advanced data manipulation tasks.
- Practical experience using leading data visualisation tools such as Tableau to create impactful dashboards that inform business decisions.
- Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) would be advantageous but is not essential; willingness to learn new technologies is valued.
