Our client is a proprietary, algorithmic crypto trading firm that currently ranks world’s top 50 trader on Binance’s trader leaderboard. With an average annual turnover of $5bn in the past 7 years, our client is looking to hire employee No.5 – Python Engineer – to join a senior developer to re-develop their trading system. This role is hybrid - Mon to Thur in London Bridge office.
Key Job Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of knowledge and experience of working with Python3.
- Particular knowledge and experience of working with high performance libraries such as Numpy.
- Experience of working with JIT compilers such as Numba.
- Ability to work to best practices particularly with regards to managing code bases, testing code etc.
- Experience interfacing with API’s and Websockets.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Ability to problem solve and complete tasks in a broad range of areas.
- Experience in deploying applications to a live environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Primarily developing our trading systems.
- Deploy company’s models and execute orders in the market.
- Reconcile trades and positions, interface with the various Crypto exchanges they trade.
- There will be opportunities to work across the whole of the company by completing coding tasks for the research and data processing.
