Legal Counsel - £50-52k - 10mth FTC

Global professional services business looking for a Junior Legal Counsel with commercial contracts experience to join their team to cover a maternity leave for a 10 month period. You must have previous in-house experience. This is on a hybrid working basis with 3 days in the Central London office.

On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve:

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing and commercial agreements, as well as assisting the business in negotiations with clients and suppliers
• Helping the business on contractual terms with clients to ensure deals and transactions reach a successful conclusion
• Advising the business on ad hoc queries relating to the sector
• Reviewing contracts relating to areas such as IT, marketing and employment
• Assisting with litigation matters including responding to basic county court claims.

This position requires a qualified lawyer with at least 1 year PQE, although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must be able to demonstrate a solid track record of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in an in-house environment.

Ideally you will be able to start at the beginning of June.
