Leeds-based (generous hybrid model following initial on-boarding). Paying up to £60,000 DOE. I am delighted to be partnered with a high-growth service-led organisation with their search for a Senior Management Accountant. This will be a pivotal role that will assist with a period of real transformation. This will be a high-impact role with visibility across the group, offering the opportunity to shape reporting standards and to really empower teams through better systems and processes. This role requires the blend of technical accounting expertise with systems and data fluency. You’ll be responsible for building reporting infrastructure, enhancing existing reports, and supporting the business with timely, accurate insights.
Key Duties
- Own and enhance group financial reporting infrastructure and outputs.
- Lead continual improvements to reporting processes and tools.
- Implement and integrate reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to improve visibility and decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, HR, IT, and central teams to meet reporting needs.
- Own some of the financial information and report accurately and timely at month end.
- Support with the review of Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards and VAT reporting across multiple entities.
- Provide guidance on financial systems and reporting tools.
About You
- Fully-qualified (or finalist) Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Strong understanding of group audit processes and financial reporting.
- Comfortable working with data systems and reporting tools.
- Highly organised, self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
