This role offers a competitive day rate and the flexibility of home-based work. You will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and refining their IT Service Continuity processes, plans, and strategies. What you\’ll do:

As an IT Service Continuity Lead, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth operation of our client\’s critical IT services. Your expertise in designing robust IT service continuity plans that align with business priorities will be invaluable. You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to create these plans and strategies. Additionally, your role will involve conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for IT Services, designing continuity testing exercises, collaborating on planning efforts, and creating comprehensive documentation.

  • Design and implement a framework to ensure IT systems incorporate redundancy, failover mechanisms, and load balancing
  • Use the Tech Service Catalogue to identify and assess IT services critical to business operations
  • Prioritise IT services based on their business criticality
  • Design and execute a framework for ongoing service continuity exercises and simulations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design detailed service continuity plans
  • Develop effective documentation of service continuity plans, assessments and runbooks
