As Information Technology Manager, you\’ll be responsible for the availability, performance, and security of IT infrastructure that directly supports manufacturing operations. You’ll lead a local IT team, work closely with national and international colleagues, and play a central role in delivering both operational support and long-term IT improvements.
This is an on-site role suited to someone with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience working within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage all local IT operations at the Burnley site
Maintain infrastructure performance, reliability, and data security
Oversee system upgrades, patching, backups, and compliance
Coordinate with international teams on group-wide projects and rollouts
Manage the local IT budget and produce service performance reporting
Support incident response and ensure business continuity
Contribute to IT innovation through new tools such as MES or VR technologies
What we\’re looking for:
Significant IT experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and production systems (e.g. Kanban, Andon)
Strong leadership, budgeting, and project management skills
Ability to collaborate across local and international teams
Degree in Information Systems or equivalent practical experience
