An exciting opportunity has arisen for a NQ-2 year PQE Housing Litigation Solicitor to join a leading commercial law firm. This firm is renowned for its expertise in housing, local government, health and social care, construction and energy sectors. They are looking for an individual who can make a real impact and contribute to their ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will be part of a team of experts and progressive thinkers in one of the firm's core markets - housing.
What you’ll do:
- Advising social landlords on a wide range of housing management issues
- Handling possession claims and injunction claims
- Providing legal advice on anti-social behaviour litigation
- Dealing with cases involving the Equality Act 2010 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Managing breach of tenancy claims and social housing fraud
- Working on access injunctions for gas and electricity safety
- Resolving failed succession cases and service charge disputes
