I am supporting a fast-growing business in their search for a Head of Data & Analytics to lead their data function, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for someone with a blend of technical expertise, commercial insight, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Head of Data & Analytics duties:
- Define and implement the company’s data and analytics strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead a team of data analysts, engineers, and BI developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and data-driven innovation.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that support performance improvement and strategic growth.
- Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support key business functions.
- Drive the adoption of modern data platforms, tools, and technologies to improve accessibility and scalability.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the business ahead of the curve in analytics and data science.
- Act as a champion for data literacy across the organization.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a senior data leadership role.
- Strong background in analytics, data science, and/or data engineering, with deep understanding of tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing data teams.
- Experience implementing enterprise data strategies and modern data platforms (AWS preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
