Overview
Our client is a hugely successful and well regarded retail and ecommerce brand operating internationally. This is an SME business which is hugely acquisitive. They are seeking to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Analyst to join the London-based finance team. Reporting directly to senior management and liaising with senior leadership on a day-to-day basis, this is a pivotal position within the international group.
Responsibilities
- Monthly and quarterly consolidated group management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting, analysis
- Cash flow forecast modelling — variances to budget and insights into the reasons behind them
- Manage the audit process and assist with elements of tax and treasury work
- Support with ongoing ad hoc analysis and strategic finance work
- M&A and corporate finance related projects as and when required
Qualifications
- Formal accountancy qualification or overseas equivalent
- Audit experience gained from a well recognised accountancy practice or equivalent industry experience
- Role suited to those at 0–2 years PQE (but not limited to)
- Fluent French speaker (essential for the role)
- Willingness to travel to France occasionally (once or twice every 2 months)
- Experience with audit and accounting functions; ability to liaise with international head offices
Working arrangements and travel
Working arrangements are fully flexible and could be managed remotely for the right person. The role may require occasional travel to France as noted above.
