Group Financial Accountant

Our client, a leading UK-based global business, is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and make a key contribution to the company’s continued success. You will be involved in all aspects of the Group\’s financial activities, playing a pivotal role in supporting the company\’s strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Group Financial Accountant:

1. Prepare monthly Group summary information and report on Group performance.
2. Lead the compilation of budgets, forecasting, and other financial plans .
3. Control Group cash flow within defined parameters.
4. Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated management information and covenant calculations for banking purposes.
5. Prepare the annual Group consolidated statutory accounts .
6. Plan, perform, and report on internal audit procedures .
7. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and policies .

Key Requirements:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
2. Strong technical background with group experience .
3. Advanced Excel skills and a good knowledge of financial systems.
4. Proven ability to influence decision-making with quality analysis and clear communication.
5. A hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
