Robert Walters have partnered with a leading organisation who are in the middle of an enterprise-wide transformation. They are looking to scale their project teams to support in the transformation. This role offers you the chance to work on impactful initiatives within a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring business needs are met through effective resource management and collaborative teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Define clear project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria while developing comprehensive project plans and schedules that set the foundation for successful execution.
- Ensure every project is underpinned by a robust business case and benefits management plan, aligning all activities with agreed outcomes to maximise value for stakeholders.
- Communicate transparently with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations thoughtfully and providing regular updates to keep everyone informed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks early on, assess their impact collaboratively with your team, and implement effective mitigation strategies while resolving issues promptly to minimise disruption.
- Control project budgets meticulously by tracking expenditures and optimising resource allocation so that financial targets are consistently met without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to organisational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements by maintaining strong governance practices across all aspects of project delivery.
- Manage major or technical projects from inception through completion, successfully implementing solutions that meet agreed timescales, costs, and quality benchmarks for planned benefits.
What you bring
- A recognised qualification such as Prince II or APM Professional is required to ensure best practice methodologies are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proven ability to work effectively with different methodologies—including waterfall or Agile (SCRUM)—to tailor approaches that best suit each project's unique needs.
- A naturally analytical mindset enables you to think laterally when identifying root causes of issues while confidently making well-considered recommendations.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities allow you to manage competing priorities under pressure without sacrificing accuracy or missing deadlines.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft 365 suite alongside Atlassian toolset (Jira) ensures efficient management and tracking of projects from start to finish.
