Data Solutions Partner / Business Analyst – Asset Management
The successful candidate will play a key role in Data solution design activities on behalf of the Chief Data Office, ensuring that Data is considered as a key enabler at the very heart of any solution designs and operating models created. The Solution Partner leads engagements with and acts as the key point of contact for business customers to support BAU and change initiatives on behalf of Data Solution and CDO. .
Experience & Knowledge
• Must have experience of working on Data project/s, with data domains in the Asset Management Industry.
• Must have detailed understanding of Indices, Benchmarks and Securities, end to end life cycle and use across Asset Management processes and demonstrated experience delivery of change impacting these processes
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the Asset Management Industry, Investments asset classes and products, data vendors, methodologies, technologies, and data domains.
• Collaborative approach to working with architects, the CDO team, change and subject matter experts alike, to establish the facts, and ensure effective communication of requirements.
• Experience of business development activities including the measurement of adoption of services and products.
• Demonstratable previous experience of analysis and requirements gathering in Asset Management
• Experience of designing data solutions – including data architecture, flows, controls, and services
• Good understanding of data governance concepts including data domains, data ownership, data stewardship and application of critical data element standards and definitions
• Experience and knowledge of Data Quality dimensions and how to define DQ rules, metrics, validation processes and DQ Dashboards
• Experience in running workshops with different business and technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to manage complex and difficult queries or situations.
• Demonstrate accountability and ability to adapt and improve.
• Ability to work quickly, against a deadline/changing deadline while maintaining quality.
• Ability to analyze complex data flows and map data movement at data attribute level, across operational business processes.
