Our client, operating in the retail space, is seeking an exceptional Commercial Finance Manager to lead a commercial finance team, working with and business partnering a number of senior stakeholders within the senior leadership team. With a competitive salary of £70,000 – £80,000 per annum, bonus & a strong benefits package alongside, this is an exceptional opportunity to further drive the commercial growth of the organisation.
What you\’ll do:
- Take ownership for day-to-day finance within the commercial finance team.
- Provide financial insight that will inform the strategic direction of the business up to the board level.
- Be heavily involved in the presentation of financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and plans to the Sales Director and their leadership team.
- Manage a small team of three Finance Business Partners & Analysts, with opportunities to expand this team as the business grows.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this opportunity should be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) & bring significant previous business partnering experience within a retail/FMCG/ecommerce/multi-site environment. You should have strong technical finance skills over areas you are responsible for, and an ability to prioritise tasks effectively, work well under pressure, and demonstrate commitment, drive, and ambition.
If you can demonstrate some line management experience, looking after board level stakeholders, and examples of working at a fast pace with an ability to ‘change pace’ when required, this will also stand you in good stead.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be on site 2-3 days a week.
