My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute, ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a high-growth, fast-paced division, driving strategic decision-making and providing financial insights that support the growth of their products and services.

Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, your role will be pivotal in driving strategic decision-making within the company. You will be tasked with automating trading reporting and creating dashboards that provide key commercial insights, ultimately driving improvements in business performance. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the creation and maintenance of P&L rolling forecast models, along with analysing P&L and trading performance against forecasts and previous years. This crucial work will underpin the decision-making process for the senior leadership team.
- Automate trading reporting and create dashboards to provide key commercial insights
- Support the creation and maintenance of P&L rolling forecast models
- Analyse P&L and trading performance vs. forecast and prior years
- Present/communicate key insights coherently to the senior leadership team
- Work with different teams across the group, utilising strong communication and people skills
- Validate and distribute commercial information within the business on a timely basis
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Commercial Finance Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in handling large amounts of data – extracting data from source, manipulating it to build reports/dashboards. You will have excellent excel data extraction, transformation and modelling skills coupled with experience using SQL, Power BI/Power Query, Tableau or similar programs. A finance qualification (or part qualification) such as CIMA / ACA or ACCA is required along with a high level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
