Digital business operating some of the UK’s best known consumer websites are looking for a Legal Counsel on a six month contract which has the potential to extend. The role is based in Central London on a hybrid basis with two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, negotiating, and finalising commercial agreements
- Providing legal advice in relation to new products and initiatives
- Delivering guidance on issues such as data privacy (including e-privacy)
- Contributing to corporate activity such as acquisitions and integration projects
- Providing training to the business on key legal and regulatory developments
Requirements
- This role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 8 years’ PQE, but applications from all levels will be considered on merit (the more experience, the better!).
- You must have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Commonwealth qualified candidates are welcomed alongside UK qualified lawyers.
- You must be available to start immediately and have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be provided).
