A leading UK Pensions Manager is seeking an ERP Finance Project Manager to lead the finance migration as part of a multi-year Workday transformation programme on an initial 6 month contract. Competitive day rate based on experience. Location: Hybrid (London City/Remote).
This hybrid role offers flexibility between London City and remote working. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Change to ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems to a modern ERP platform.
Your Role:- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the finance systems migration workstream within the ERP programme.
- Develop and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, RAID logs, and resource allocation.
- Establish robust governance frameworks and provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee cutover planning, including data migration, dry runs, and go-live execution.
- Act as a bridge between Finance SMEs and IT teams to align technical and business requirements.
- Support business readiness through training schedules, communications planning, and user adoption initiatives.
- Proven experience managing finance system migrations in regulated sectors (e.g., pensions or investment management).
- Strong knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, Treasury, Payments, Reconciliations).
- Expertise in cutover planning and delivering complex transformation programmes with robust governance.
- Familiarity with leading ERP platforms (Workday Financials, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or MS Dynamics preferred).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience with RAID management practices.
- Collaborative mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
