A global investment banking group is seeking a Development Lead to join its Post-Trade Risk Technology function. The organisation offers exposure to complex, high-impact platforms supporting trading, risk, and regulatory outcomes across global markets. This is a senior technical leadership role combining hands-on engineering expertise with people and delivery management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end software delivery for post-trade technology services, from design through deployment.
- Lead and develop engineering teams, acting as an escalation point, mentor, and delivery owner.
- Define and deliver the regional technology roadmap, aligned to a global strategic framework.
- Drive high-priority change across risk and regulatory platforms, ensuring stability, resilience, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, DevOps/DevSecOps, and global stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Oversee vendor integrations, audit engagement, compliance alignment, and cost management.
- Support regulatory and internal reporting through robust, scalable solutions.
Key Requirements
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, Python, SQL (cloud exposure e.g. Azure preferred).
- Proven team lead or development management experience within complex, enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, SDLC, IT controls, and Agile delivery.
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building stable, high-performing teams.
- Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, including front-office users.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated testing frameworks.
