Initial 9 month contract. Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in legal finance? If so, we are recruiting for a Transactional Finance Manager to join a leading law firm on an initial 9-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across all areas of finance operations within a fast-paced, award-winning organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Approve travel and payment requests while managing weekly team schedules.
- Oversee cashflow management, daily bank reconciliations, and client account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly performance reports, KPIs, and financial control updates.
- Manage debt provisions, credit control reporting, and complex billing queries.
- Provide oversight of E-billing ledgers and revenue control processes.
- Lead and coach the finance operations team, ensuring effective collaboration both in person and remotely.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in legal finance at a management or team leader level.
- Familiarity with SOS (Solicitors Own Software) finance platforms would be advantageous.
- Experience with a law firm, or financial/professional services organisation would be essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in an evolving finance environment.
