Robert Walters are currently supporting a leading business based in Birmingham in their recruitment of a Junior Credit Controller on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a designated trade debtor ledger through verbal and written communication, achieving personal cash collection targets.
- Ensure effective use of the FSCM system, following best practice guidelines.
- Facilitate debtor payments to agreed terms and take timely action on late payments.
- Reconcile accounts on a monthly, termly, and annual basis.
- Accurately allocate all payments received on designated ledgers.
- Attend monthly reviews with senior management to highlight debt risks and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate client details on the sales ledger, including diary notes and reconciliations.
- Adhere to credit control best practice standards and work towards reducing overdue debt.
- Collaborate with the Credit Control Team Manager to review ledger risks and opportunities.
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas to enhance departmental effectiveness.
- Provide detailed information for debt reporting ahead of executive meetings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report incidents via approved processes.
