This role focuses on leading vulnerability management for AWS environments within a security platform built with modern AI to support decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a risk-based approach to vulnerabilities and standardize remediation workflows.
  • Provide guidance on compensating controls and collaborate with service teams to address security concerns and remove blockers.
  • Review and triage vulnerability disclosures, assess risks, and work with AWS experts on technical remediation at scale.
  • Collaborate with AWS service teams and partners to remediate or mitigate risks.
  • Author risk assessments, remediation guidance, audit responses, and status reports.
  • Partner with product teams across AWS to develop scalable security solutions.
  • Develop tooling to automate and refine vulnerability management processes.
  • Identify and own projects to continuously improve proactive security across AWS.
  • Periodic on-call responsibilities.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Security specialist with AWS Vulnerability Management experience.
  • Strong analytical, cybersecurity, and technical expertise to protect cloud environments.
  • Ability to interpret vulnerability disclosures and translate into actionable remediation.
  • Experience collaborating with AWS service teams and partners; familiarity with AWS security services is preferred.
  • Senior Management level experience; suitable for a senior role.

Location: London (remote work available; UK citizen required).

Contract Type: Temporary Interim Management; Salary: £650 - £700 per day.

On-call responsibilities are expected.
