Overview

A fulltime office based role with our client seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Luton. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the accounts payable function within a dynamic and supportive environment. What you\’ll do

Manage and oversee the entire accounts payable department
Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
Provide monthly financial and management reports
Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax compliance
Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information
Assess, recommend and implement improvements to the accounts payable process

What you\’ll bring

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficiency in relevant accounting software
Excellent organisational skills
Strong leadership abilities
