They are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to lead the accounts payable function, and make your impact on the brand. This is an onsite role which requires 5 days in the office – please only apply if you are able to make this work.
What you\’ll do:
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial efficiency of our client\’s organisation. You will be part of a fast-paced company that values your expertise and contributions. Your role will involve leading the accounts payable function, implementing strategic improvements, working closely with international partners, managing the timely submission and processing of expenses.
- Lead and manage the Accounts Payable Department.
- Conduct staff appraisals, set performance targets, and manage the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with senior finance leaders to review weekly payment budgets.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end procedures.
- Coordinate with various business units to ensure accurate vendor billing information.
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting with a focus on supplier payments.
- Build and maintain relationships with overseas licensed stores.
- Identify and implement system improvements and new procedures.
- Manage the timely submission and processing of expenses.
