Robert Walters are delighted to be partnered with a national logistics firm in their search for a Finance Business Partner. You will be joining an award-winning team and be stationed in fantastic new offices. This role supports the group functions, operational and commercial teams by providing clear analysis and insights on group wide projects and initiatives. You will develop business cases for projects where required. Partnering with the Group and BU finance teams to ensure that relevant information from group wide projects and initiatives is shared and understood.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Group operational stakeholders to build portfolio of information
- Understand stakeholder objectives and priorities to build their objectives accordingly
- Build standard reports for key areas to provide transparency of performance to the Exec and senior teams
- Supports the commercial decision-making process by developing guidelines and templates
- Supports the strategic financial planning process by bringing transparency of the financial impacts of group wide initiatives
- Ensures that short term budgets and forecasts are aligned with financial targets defined by group wide projects and initiatives
- Communicates expectations from BUs clearly and on a timely basis to ensure alignment on group-wide initiatives and projects
- Produce business cases and ad-hoc analysis as required
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
- Strong Excel skills and previous presentation experience
- Circa 3 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to relay financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong and proactive communication with senior colleagues
