This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to play a key role in managing cash flow, reducing aged debt, and supporting the wider finance team. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring outstanding balances are collected efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and approve credit applications for new and existing customers.
- Set up and maintain customer accounts within NetSuite.
- Review and manage customer credit limits based on risk assessments and available credit insurance.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness using external credit reference tools.
- Proactively collect outstanding invoices and ensure payments are received within agreed terms.
- Manage aged debt and follow up overdue accounts via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Negotiate payment arrangements where appropriate.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries and payment disputes.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Teams and Contract Managers to resolve outstanding issues.
