I am delighted to be exclusively partnered with this manufacturing company based in brilliant offices in Macclesfield. Due to internal process improvements, they are seeking an accountant to support heavily on the operational side of things. You will be joining a team with brilliant tenure and a successful organisation. Reporting directly to the Finance & IT Manager, this role maintains a close working relationship with the Operations team, acting as the key financial and analytical link between Finance and the day-to-day operations of the production function.
Key Duties:
- Lead the preparation and review of the Weekly and Monthly Production Gains & Loss reconciliations.
- Attend and facilitate weekly meetings with the Operations Team to review gains/losses and resolve queries.
- Ownership of the month end process relating to Stock Balances, WIP, Material Price Variances Quality and Stock Provisions along with KPI's.
- Review with Quality Department on the status of customer complaints and quarantined material to drive its relevancy and accuracy on the balance sheet.
- Ownership of the Operations/ Stock related Balance Sheet areas.
- Support the Operations Team with data queries and provide timely financial insight to assist operational decision-making.
