Robert Walters Group are currently supporting a leading business in Dudley during a period of growth and transformation in their recruitment of a FP&A Manager. You will sit at the heart of value creation, partnering closely with senior leadership, operational teams, and stakeholders. The role offers high exposure, genuine influence over strategic decision-making, and the chance to shape how financial insight drives performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the FP&A process, establishing best practice from scratch
- Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasting cycles, and long-range planning
- Build and maintain corporate financial models, including P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
- Prepare and deliver quarterly board reporting, translating financial data into commercial insight
- Partner with the senior leadership on ad-hoc analysis, reporting and value-creation initiatives
- Work closely with the operational managers to set and challenge budgets
- Develop weekly KPI reporting, working alongside the data team to create meaningful, business-focused dashboards
- Provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions, revenue optimisation and performance improvement
- Act as a key finance business partner, complementing the Finance Manager who owns financial accuracy
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven, hands-on FP&A experience - comfortable operating independently in an FP&A environment
- Demonstrable experience running budgeting and forecasting processes end-to-end
- Strong financial modelling capability (either built your own or significantly enhanced existing models)
- Commercially minded, able to 'talk the business' rather than just the numbers
- Confident working with senior stakeholders
- Comfortable in a change environment and motivated by building, improving and adding value
