I am delighted to be partnered with a professional services firm based in Manchester City Centre in their search for a Financial Analyst to join their award winning FP&A Team. This role will play a crucial part in their financial planning and analysis, helping to drive strategic decisions by providing key insights into our performance, with a specific focus on schemes.

Key Duties:

  • Build intermediate to advanced financial models from the ground up to support scenario and sensitivity analysis for various financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare accurate financial forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with regional analysts.
  • Analyse monthly actuals against budgets and forecasts. Develop a deep understanding of key drivers, such as volume, rate & mix and customer economics, to provide clear explanations for variances.
  • Gain an understanding of contractual obligations with schemes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and automate current reporting processes. Demonstrate an openness to new ideas and a willingness to implement process changes that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Accurately reconcile scheme volumes to ensure precise invoicing.
