What You'll
Do: As Procurement Manager, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for the procurement function at a thriving UK manufacturing site.
Your day-to-day activities will involve: * Develop and implement robust procurement strategies for chemical raw materials and packaging. * Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, payment terms and long-term supply agreements. * Identify opportunities for supplier rationalisation, category management and strategic sourcing to optimise spend across all product categories. * Monitor market developments, raw material indices and supply chain trends to anticipate risks and proactively address potential challenges. * Create sourcing strategies that improve business resilience through dual sourcing arrangements and contingency planning initiatives. * Partner with international colleagues on joint sourcing initiatives, group purchasing agreements and harmonisation of suppliers to maximise commercial benefits.
