Salary: Β£50,000-Β£60,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + bonus + benefits

What you'll do:
- Manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters under appropriate supervision, ensuring each case receives meticulous attention and care throughout its lifecycle.
- Take detailed instructions from clients and provide clear, practical legal advice tailored to their unique circumstances, supporting them through sensitive and often life-altering situations.
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering an exceptional client experience rooted in empathy, understanding, and trust at every stage of the process.
- Assist partners and senior team members on complex and high-value cases, contributing your insights while learning from some of the most knowledgeable professionals in the field.
- Review cases regularly with supervisors to ensure legal strategies align with best practices and uphold the highest standards of client service and legal excellence.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients by sharing knowledge, resources, and support in a communal environment.
- Secure interim payments wherever possible to enable access to rehabilitation services, specialist care, housing adaptations, or other vital support before claims are concluded.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of developments in medical law and further enhance your technical skills within a nurturing setting.

What you bring:
- 3+ years' post-qualification experience gained within either claimant or defendant medical negligence practice is highly desirable for this position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and diligence.
- Strong technical knowledge combined with analytical skills that enable you to assess complex medical evidence and develop effective legal strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail which ensures thorough preparation of documents and careful review of all case materials throughout proceedings.
- Commercial awareness paired with a proactive approach allows you to anticipate challenges in case management and respond effectively for optimal results.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team environment while also being dependable when working autonomously on individual tasks.
