Pattern: 4 on / 4 off Days Nights An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a leading, high-volume manufacturing business operating within a fast-paced production environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys both reactive fault finding and proactive maintenance activities while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reliability-based maintenance activities.
Responding to equipment breakdowns and undertaking effective fault finding to minimise downtime.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects focused on increasing reliability and efficiency.
Working in accordance with Permit to Work systems, safe isolation procedures, and site health and safety policies.
Updating maintenance records and managing work orders through the CMMS system.
Ordering and managing spare parts requirements.
Assisting with installation, commissioning, and improvement of new and existing machinery.
