We're working with a well-established business in Eccles that is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join its EMEA commercial team. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for managing inbound enquiries, qualifying new leads, supporting customers and working closely with the wider sales team to identify new commercial opportunities.
Job Spec:
- Responding to inbound sales enquiries from the website, marketing campaigns, trade shows and other lead-generation channels
- Qualifying new leads by understanding customer requirements, applications, volumes and timescales
- Following up with prospective customers and keeping lead activity up to date on the CRM
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Coordinating customer sample requests from initial enquiry through to delivery
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently
- Tracking sample deliveries and following up with customers to gather feedback
- Identifying potential new commercial opportunities
- Acting as the first point of contact for general customer enquiries
- Providing customers with product information, documentation and availability details
- Supporting the sales team with quotes, CRM updates, pricing, opportunity tracking and reporting
- Preparing reports, presentations and dashboards for management
- Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity records
- Supporting marketing and sales campaigns
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience
Person Spec:
- 2-5 years' experience in inside sales, customer service, sales administration or commercial support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in building relationships
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
- Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot or similar
- Comfortable working collaboratively with different internal teams
- Previous B2B or commercial experience would be beneficial
- A proactive approach with the ability to spot opportunities and follow things through
