About the Company
Join a fast-growing, premium activewear brand on a mission to empower women through strength training. With an ambitious growth strategy, a strong digital presence and a passionate global community, the business combines innovation, performance and a people-first culture.
As the company continues to scale, technology plays a vital role in keeping teams connected, productive and equipped to perform at their best.
The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Tech Ops Specialist to work closely with the IT Manager, supporting day-to-day IT operations in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
You'll be the go-to person for employee IT support, managing new starter onboarding, device setup, user access, Google Workspace administration, meeting rooms and support tickets. You'll ensure employees have the technology they need from day one while keeping workplace systems running smoothly.
This is a varied, hands-on opportunity for someone proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership. Alongside core IT support, you'll contribute to process improvements, basic automation and wider technical projects as the business grows.
The contract is initially 3-6 months, with the potential for an extension or permanent opportunity depending on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding and offboarding: Set up laptops, accounts, applications and permissions, ensuring a seamless first-day experience.
- IT support: Troubleshoot Mac and Windows devices, mobile phones, software and connectivity, managing tickets and resolving issues efficiently.
- Google Workspace administration: Manage user accounts, groups, permissions and access, alongside supporting Microsoft 365.
- Device management: Configure, deploy and maintain hardware, manage devices through an MDM platform and maintain accurate asset records.
- Meeting rooms: Set up and troubleshoot meeting-room equipment, AV systems and peripherals.
- Process improvement: Document solutions, maintain internal IT guides and identify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Technical development: Apply basic Python, scripting and data skills to support reporting, troubleshooting and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years' experience in IT support, IT operations or workplace technology.
- Hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments.
- Experience administering Google Workspace, including user provisioning and access management.
- Familiarity with MDM tools such as Jamf or Kandji and IT ticketing systems.
- Basic Python, scripting or data skills, with an interest in automation.
- Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach to problem-solving.
- A proactive, organised individual who can work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in a fast-paced scale-up or similarly dynamic environment, comfortable adapting as the business grows.
Nice to have: Microsoft 365 administration, PowerShell or shell scripting, ITIL knowledge, and experience in e-commerce or retail.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Immediate start with an initial 3-6 month contract.
- Competitive day rate of £225-£275, Outside IR35.
- Hybrid working, with three days onsite in Old Street, London.
- Opportunity to work closely with the IT Manager and make a tangible impact in a growing business.
- Potential to extend the contract or transition into a permanent position.
