Financial & Management Accountant - Corporate | London | Permanent
A leading, privately owned UK property and urban regeneration business is seeking a Financial & Management Accountant to join its corporate finance team in London.
This is a broad and commercially focused role, offering responsibility across financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and reporting of a number of group entities and will work closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare year-end management accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Lead audit processes and act as a key contact for external auditors.
- Support quarterly management reporting and monthly financial dashboards.
- Oversee financial ledgers, including journal review and approvals.
- Support annual budgets, budget journals and reporting for budget holders.
- Manage monthly cash flow, fees and capital call processes.
- Prepare cash flow budgets and financial analysis.
- Support payroll, tax and finance systems processes.
- Work collaboratively with People, Tax, Finance Systems and project teams to improve processes and controls.
- Line manage and oversee the work of a Corporate Accountant.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and the flow of information across the business.
About you
You will be a qualified accountant , ideally with a background in financial and/or management accounting. You should have strong experience across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting, together with statutory accounts preparation.

- Commercially aware and confident working with stakeholders.
- A proactive, self-starting "can-do" individual.
- Strong in project and process management.
- Confident improving financial controls and processes.
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and priorities.
- A clear communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Curious, adaptable and willing to challenge existing ways of working.
