What you'll do:

• Collaborate closely with project teams and trading desks to support the expansion of the Cash Prime Brokerage business while maintaining high standards of client service.
• Act as the primary point of contact for prime brokerage clients on a daily basis, addressing their needs promptly and resolving queries efficiently.
• Deliver regional and global coverage by managing transactional portfolios for clients and proactively mitigating financial and reputational risks.
• Review client reports on daily, weekly, and monthly cycles; partner with Client Service teams to drive improvements in efficiency, cost management, and operational controls.
• Onboard new clients by ensuring accurate loading of settlement instructions (SSIs) and maintaining data integrity requirements throughout the process.
• Resolve breaks quickly and accurately by coordinating with traders, Client Service, IT, Middle Office, and Core Operations teams.
• Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs) and represent Middle Office in key risk indicator (KRI) forums as well as Front Office supervision meetings.
• Demonstrate flexibility by learning additional business areas such as Synthetic Prime Brokerage, Equity Solutions, Equity Finance & Delta-1, Equity Syndicate, and Convertible Bonds to provide backup support when needed.
• Implement robust monitoring frameworks to ensure compliance with operational controls while maintaining rigorous oversight of client onboarding processes.
• Apply risk management principles consistently to safeguard against financial and reputational exposure for both clients and the organisation.

What you bring:

• Subject matter expertise in Cash Prime Brokerage operations is essential for providing strategic support during business expansion initiatives.
• A strong understanding of operational risk combined with proactive risk management abilities enables you to protect both client portfolios and organisational interests.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required for analysing complex data sets; familiarity with PowerPoint and Word would be advantageous for reporting purposes.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with excellent administration skills ensures accuracy in client onboarding processes and daily servicing activities.
