As our business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Legal Counsel to join our team and provide strategic legal support across all areas of the business.

The Role

As Interim Senior Legal Counsel, you will take the lead in managing a wide range of legal matters, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and supporting the delivery of our commercial objectives.

Acting as a trusted adviser to the leadership team, you will bring a strong blend of technical legal expertise and sound commercial judgement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory and contractual matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Support corporate governance and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Advise on risk management, disputes and litigation matters as required.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external legal advisers, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the legal team (if applicable).

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled, pragmatic and commercially aware lawyer with the confidence to operate at a senior level.

Requirements

  • Solicitor in England and Wales with 5+ years' PQE (Post-Qualified Experience), ideally with experience gained both in private practice and in-house.
  • Strong background in corporate and commercial law
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise and commercially focused legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
