We are currently seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Coventry on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a key leadership role, supporting financial operations, reporting, and business performance during a period of change and growth. The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will play a crucial role in ensuring the finance function operates efficiently while providing valuable commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial analysis and strategic support
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity
- Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiencies
- Mentor and support members of the finance team where required
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Proven experience operating at Finance Manager level
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/finance systems
- Available to commence at short notice or immediately
