The Opportunity
Our client is an established and growing UK-based distribution business with a strong presence across both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an E-Commerce Executive to join their team and support the ongoing development and management of their digital sales channels.
This is a varied opportunity for an experienced e-commerce professional who is looking to take the next step in their career within a growing and commercially focused business.
The Role
Working as part of the wider commercial team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation and development of the company's e-commerce activity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership of the day-to-day management and optimisation of the company's online sales channels.
- Maintain and develop the B2B e-commerce platform, ensuring a smooth experience for customers.
- Manage relationships with external technology and platform providers, resolving issues where required.
- Support the delivery of digital marketing activity across the channels.
- Assist with the integration and maintenance of internal systems and e-commerce processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve online performance, processes and customer experience.
- Support wider digital and e-commerce projects as the business continues to grow.
About You
We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Executive or similar, with a good understanding of online trading and e-commerce platforms.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within an e-commerce environment. Including online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong IT skills and confidence working across multiple systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage your own workload whilst working effectively as part of a team.
