PPE Technical Specialist - Field Based

£30,000 + benefits | Home-based (Central belt/South of England) | UK-wide travel | Permanent

We're working with a well-established business within the workwear, protective clothing and PPE sector , who are looking for a

PPE Specialist to join their team.

This is a customer-facing, field-based role suited to someone with experience in

PPE, workwear, protective clothing or uniform fitting .

The Role

  • Travel to customer sites to measure and fit employees for PPE and protective clothing.
  • Measure new recruits and carry out remeasures where required.
  • Complete customer site audits and PPE inspections.
  • Support external providers with PPE inspection, decontamination and repairs.
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records.
  • Manage your own workload, travel schedule and priorities.
  • Represent the business professionally when visiting customers.

About You

  • Previous experience within

PPE, workwear, protective clothing or uniforms .

  • Experience measuring, fitting or inspecting garments is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including

Excel and Word .

  • Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK.

Full UK driving licence essential.

  • Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Experience working with Fire & Rescue Services would be advantageous.
