CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR
Salary: £13.45 per hour + holiday pay (plus bonus)
Location: Altrincham - Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Contract: Ongoing temporary
Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:45-17:15, Fri 08:45-16:30
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy customer support team in Altrincham on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a varied customer service role where you'll be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints primarily via email and a ticketing system, taking ownership of each case through to resolution.
What you'll be doing

Managing customer queries and complaints via email and a ticketing system

Taking ownership of cases from initial query through to resolution

Investigating issues and providing clear, professional responses to customers

Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve more complex queries

Working with teams such as IT to investigate system or technical issues affecting customers

Keeping customers updated throughout the resolution process

Accurately recording case details and updates on internal systems

Managing a busy workload while ensuring queries are responded to within agreed timescales

Identifying recurring issues and escalating where appropriate
What we're looking for

Previous experience within customer service, customer support or complaints

Strong written communication skills and confidence handling customer queries via email

Experience using a ticketing or case management system would be beneficial

Confident liaising with different teams and stakeholders to resolve issues

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of queries

Organised and comfortable managing multiple cases at once
