An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join a supportive team who work collaboratively to contribute to the continued success of the school. The role will be fixed‑term initially to start as soon as possible (and ideally start 23rd February to the end of the summer term, 22nd July 2026).
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Data Manager with routine administrative aspects of student attendance and with the maintenance and housekeeping of current school systems, which include SIMS, Class Charts and Edulink.
- Liaising with school staff and external parties as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Highly organised, accurate and detail‑conscious work ethic
- Ability to use discretion and respect confidentiality
- Experience of working with SIMS (or other education MIS) would be beneficial but training can be provided.
- Knowledge and understanding of the education sector and/or experience of working within a school environment would be desirable.
Work Hours
The part‑time hours are up to 18.5 hours per week and can be worked flexibly (within the core school hours of 8:00am‑4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am‑3:30pm on Friday) and the role is term‑time only. We are a welcoming, caring and supportive working environment and high priority is given to the wellbeing of our staff and students.
