The role
As a Landlord & Tenant/Valuation Surveyor you will be working with a loyal client base looking after a diverse portfolio. This is a role where you will be given the opportunity and room to grow both personally and professionally. The role covers two areas:
- Lease advisory
- Advise clients on lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, break clauses, surrenders, and re-gears for landlords and tenants etc.
- Interpret and apply lease terms, statutory provisions, and case law to provide accurate technical advice.
- Respond promptly to client queries and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Attend client meetings and present findings, recommendations, and negotiation strategies.
- Analyse market comparables, rental evidence, and valuation data to support negotiations.
- Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and recommendations for lease events.
- Monitor critical lease dates and ensure timely action on renewals, reviews, and breaks.
- Assist with dispute resolution, including preparation of submissions for arbitration or expert determination.
- Collaborating closely with the property management and commercial agency teams.
- Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, RICS guidance, and best practice standards.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and database management for client portfolios.
- Support internal quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver RICS Red Book valuations across commercial and residential assets, including retail, office, industrial and development sites.
- Undertake valuations (non-secured lending) for a range of clients.
- Carry out inspections, measurements and market research to support detailed reporting.
- Liaise with clients throughout instructions.
- Manage a varied caseload, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Support business development and client relationship initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of Landlord & Tenant and Valuation work;
- RICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer;

Salary & Benefits
You’ll be offered a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum depending on your experience and a comprehensive benefits package:
- Training Loan: The loan up to £1,500 per year for the work-related training, professional membership and exam costs;
