This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and expanding property management company in the heart of London’s West End. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand your expertise in both residential and commercial client accounting and presents an excellent chance for career advancement and personal development within an innovative organisation. It is a hybrid role, based in our West London offices.

As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating periodic reports for clients.
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Maintaining property and lease data on TRAMPS.
  • Raising tenant demands for rent, service charges and ad hoc charges.
  • Managing client funds, paying over rent receipts to the client.
  • Ensuring accurate reconciliation of client reports, including VAT reports and client statements.
  • Facilitating communication between your line manager, surveyors, and accounts payable for your clients.
  • Cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with clients.
  • Managing and maintaining service charge funds for each property under your responsibility.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with the credit controller to ensure timely rent collection and updating clients accordingly.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations.
  • (Occasionally) Posting tenant receipts.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience using TRAMPS is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
  • An in-depth understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills.
