An established and growing Building Services company is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer to join its specialist M&E maintenance team operating across London, Greater London, and the South of England. Established in 2003, the business provides technical Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) building services support to the commercial property maintenance sector, working with a wide range of commercial and government clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking a varied role within a professional, close-knit team environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical maintenance, installation, inspection, and fault-finding duties across commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Emergency lighting testing
  • Power circuit installations
  • Controls and BMS works
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Planned maintenance inspections
  • Service and installation works
  • Supporting wider building services maintenance activities

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum Level 3 qualified Electrician
  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working within commercial building services environments
  • Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical building systems
  • Controls/BMS experience advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small mobile engineering team
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible approach to work and duties
  • Keen to further develop technical skills
