Project: 173-Bed Private Apartment Development

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Non-Working Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all mechanical subcontract trades on a large-scale private apartment development comprising 173 beds/apartments. This is a fully site-based role responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, quality control, and progress management of all mechanical installations. The successful candidate will ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all mechanical subcontractors on site
  • Manage installation activities across multiple mechanical disciplines including:
    • Pipefitting
    • HVAC / ductwork
    • Sprinkler systems
    • Smoke vent systems
    • BMS (Building Management Systems)
    • Public health services
    • Mechanical plant installations
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
  • Conduct daily site inspections and monitor quality of installations
  • Coordinate with main contractor, site management, consultants, and other trades
  • Monitor subcontractor manpower levels and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
