Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take full ownership of our client's mechanical services projects, working closely with the client's Electrical Project Manager. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to ensure successful project delivery. Key Services: * Ventilation * Public Health * Mechanical Sprinkler Systems * VRF Heating & Cooling * BMS (Building Management Systems) Key Responsibilities: * Project Management & Delivery – Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical services projects, ensuring on-time and budget-compliant delivery. * Team & Resource Coordination – Allocate tasks, manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth operations. * Quality & Compliance – Ensure all mechanical installations meet industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. * Financial & Commercial Control – Monitor costs, track variations, approve orders/payments, and manage final accounts with the Quantity Surveyor. * Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Maintain strong relationships, attend project meetings, and ensure high standards of customer service. * Health & Safety Management – Conduct site inspections, enforce compliance, and address any H&S concerns promptly. * Reporting & Documentation – Maintain accurate project records, produce progress reports, and ensure efficient administration. Requirements: * Proven experience in mechanical project management within a main contractor or M&E subcontractor environment. * Strong knowledge of ventilation, public health, mechanical sprinkler systems, VRF heating & cooling, and BMS. * Ability to manage large-scale mechanical installations, from pre-construction to handover. * Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage project finances effectively. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * In-depth understanding of health & safety regulations and industry standards
