We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Gas Installation Engineer to join our team based in Portsmouth. The role will primarily involve working across the South Central region, with occasional national and international travel depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of mechanical and gas systems in line with project specifications
- Installation and commissioning of gas pipework, plant and associated equipment
- Carrying out pressure testing, purging, and commissioning
- Fault finding and rectification of mechanical and gas systems
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
- Occasional national and international travel for project work
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Gas Installation Engineer or similar role
- NVQ Level 3
- Experience with mechanical plant and pipework systems
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required
Qualifications (Essential)
- Gas Safe Registered (Commercial/Industrial)
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical / Gas Engineering (or equivalent)
- Relevant ACS qualifications
