We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients MoD Housing Division. Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control, contract compliance, and the smooth delivery of housing projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering projects valued up to 5 million, with excellent scope for development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all additional works across housing projects within the division
  • Prepare and submit accurate quotations and measures using the NHF Schedule of Rates
  • Support tendering and contract administration in line with NEC contract requirements
  • Produce cost reports and manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations and final accounts
  • Maintain project trackers and ensure final account targets are met, including timely billing and reporting
  • Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to secure approvals and ensure smooth project delivery

About You

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to successfully pass and maintain security vetting requirements
  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role (housing or construction preferred)
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and/or NHF Schedule of Rates (desirable)
