An experienced Site Manager is required to oversee the delivery of purpose-built care home projects across Essex and East Anglia. This role is ideally suited to individuals with a strong background in care home construction or similar specialist healthcare/residential developments.
You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities from groundworks through to project completion, ensuring all work meets stringent regulatory, technical, and quality standards associated with care environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day site operations on care home construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with specifications, programme timelines, and budgets
- Maintain compliance with Building Regulations, fire safety standards, and care sector requirements
- Enforce Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Drive quality assurance to achieve high-end finishes suitable for regulated care environments
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and successful handover
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on care home developments
- Strong understanding of traditional construction methods
- Level 6 or Level 7 qualification in Construction Management
- Black CSCS Card
- SMSTS (current)
- First Aid at Work (current)
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
