An experienced Site Manager is required to oversee the delivery of purpose-built care home projects across Essex and East Anglia. This role is ideally suited to individuals with a strong background in care home construction or similar specialist healthcare/residential developments.

You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities from groundworks through to project completion, ensuring all work meets stringent regulatory, technical, and quality standards associated with care environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site operations on care home construction projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with specifications, programme timelines, and budgets
  • Maintain compliance with Building Regulations, fire safety standards, and care sector requirements
  • Enforce Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times
  • Drive quality assurance to achieve high-end finishes suitable for regulated care environments
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and successful handover
Essential Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on care home developments
  • Strong understanding of traditional construction methods
  • Level 6 or Level 7 qualification in Construction Management
  • Black CSCS Card
  • SMSTS (current)
  • First Aid at Work (current)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
