We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our growing team based in Portsmouth. This role will primarily cover projects across the South Central region, with occasional national and international travel depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical systems in line with project specifications and drawings
- Carrying out electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning
- Fault finding and rectification of electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations (BS7671)
- Occasional travel within the UK and internationally for project work
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
- Competent in testing and inspection procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS / JIB Gold Card (preferred)
